Due to the size of the crowd expected, parade participants are not permitted to throw candy or any other items from their floats, horses, or vehicles.  Any give-away items much be handed to, or tossed over the heads of spectators by walkers walking along side your entry.  Candy landing in the street is too tempting for small children to run into the pathway of a vehicle.  PARADE ENTRIES ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO SUPPLY CANDY
