Holiday Light Contest

Light Up Star Light Contest Returns for 2025
The City of Star invites residents within city limits to participate in the 2025 Light Up Star Holiday Light Contest. Homeowners may nominate their own home or a neighbor’s home for consideration.

How to Enter
Email your name, address, and category entry to info@staridaho.org by Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

Judging
Judging will take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. All exterior lights and displays must be on during the judging window.

Winners will be announced the week of December 15, 2025, and each will receive a yard sign and a gift certificate to a local business.
