Make Star Shine

Please help us Make Star Shine to celebrate Earth Day! The City of Star Beautification Committee and the Star Lions are organizing trash pick-up projects along two sections of Highway 44 and in local parks.

We will be meeting at Star City Hall (10769 W State Street) at 9 AM on Saturday, April 25th for a welcome, sign-in, and a group picture, and then splitting up to go to various locations throughout Star. The roadside trash pick-up projects are more appropriate for adults, and the park projects are more family-friendly for children.  For additional information or to register as a volunteer, visit the Beautification Committee page.
