Warhawk Air Museum's 5k Patriot Run

Lace up your running shoes and show your patriotic spirit at the inaugural Patriot Run 5K—a community event supporting the Warhawk Air Museum’s expansion to honor Global War on Terror veterans.

Hosted at Freedom Park in Star, this event welcomes all ages and fitness levels. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps preserve American history and pay tribute to those who served in America’s longest war.

Proceeds from the Patriot Run benefit the Warhawk Air Museum, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving personal stories, artifacts, and aircraft from U.S. military history. The museum’s upcoming 37,000-square-foot expansion, opening in September 2025, will focus on the Global War on Terror and honor a new generation of veterans through interactive exhibits and historical collections.
