New to Star?
Welcome to Star! Many states mail out voter information before an election, but Idaho does not send anything automatically. You must request an absentee ballot or vote in person during early voting or on Election Day.
If you need to register, you can do it at your polling place on Election Day. Bring:
A valid photo ID (Idaho driver’s license, ID card, passport, tribal ID, or Idaho concealed weapons license)
Proof of residence (utility bill, lease, mortgage, or paystub)
Voters must be U.S. citizens, 18 or older, and Idaho residents for at least 30 days.
Meet the Candidates
There are two Star City Council seats on the ballot this year. The Star Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, October 23, at 6:00 p.m. in the Star Fire Station Community Room. This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions, and hear about their priorities for Star’s future. More info: StarIdahoChamber.com
Get Out and Vote, Star!
Be informed, plan ahead, and make your plan to vote—whether early, absentee, or in person on Election Day. Let’s make this year’s turnout one to celebrate and show what an engaged community Star truly is!
